How Gran’s Kitchen Website started

Gran’s Kitchen Website started one afternoon when my daughter came over and said we don’t like the format you are using for people to place orders. Loyal longterm customers will remeber that it used to be a Microsoft form, and had no way to tae credit cards. We need a place where people can see the delicious items and can place an order with ease.

Jennifer then asked me to come to her house. My daughter, my granddaughter (Shelby) and my son-in-law were all there showing me a website Shelby put together, she pulled it up on their big screen TV. It was like Gran’s Kitchen came to life right there in front of me. Shelby explained everything to me and said the website was still under construction and with my ok she would follow through with it and get it started. We were in the middle of planning Shelby and Bryson’s wedding, so it slowed down her available time to work on the website.

January 1st 2026 the website went live. I am so grateful for the time and care Shelby put into creating my site. Her talent shines through every page of that website. Thank you Shelby for giving Gran’s Kitchen a place to live.

This website has given me so many opportunities to try new things! So far, the couples date night was a hit for Valentine's, and I have gotten to cater a lot of fun events! I even got the chance to try my hand in a farmer's market! I am so excited to see what comes next, and cannot wait to take you all with me!
